        Professional Curriculum Vitae (CV)

The Office of Dr. John Aguilar, Jr.

I offer the complete system of Chinese medicine, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, diet therapy, exercise therapy (qigong, aka "chi kung", Taiji, aka "Tai chi", and yoga) and lifestyle counseling.

My focus is always on the total wellness of my patients, health, happiness, and a rewarding life. I don' take short-cuts in care, and my patients do best when their investment in their health matches my commitment to good medicine.

My practice of the medicine is distinguished by an insistence on professionalism and quality. When I do acupuncture, I stick to time-proven techniques, no machines, no fads, no gimmicks. In herbal medicine, I offer what has shown to be the most effective and the safest, not what is simply quick and convenient. In treatments, I engage all aspects of the patient's life, habits and lifestyle, exercise, diet, mood and mindset.
